Growth Plan ● Google Ads, then Meta ● Q4 2026

Ads that find buyers already shopping for a machine.

VMFS USA already sells about half a million dollars a month, mostly from organic search. Google has been learning from add-to-carts, so most of the budget went to cheap Display clicks while the searches that buy got the least. Our plan teaches Google what a sale is, funds the searches that buy, then adds Meta once the numbers hold.

What's in the way. In your words.

"Right now, I'm not confident in what the ads are telling me, and I know we can do better performance, especially 'cause I wanna scale it."Jose Perez, VMFS USA, Oct 22
  • The ads changed hands several times, and the setup got diluted along the way.
  • Team changes left tracking hard to trust.
  • Competitors now show up when you search your own name.
  • Paid social hasn't been run yet.
  • Your best sellers sell out quickly.

What you want. Market share, while making money.

NextWhat We FoundFive things, in plain terms

What We Found

Six things from your Google Ads account and your website. Open any one for the detail.

1Your conversion setup is steering Google's bidding toward carts, not sales.

Blood Work
1,706
Leads Google's bidding counted, Apr to Oct
2
Sales it recorded in the same months, each counted twice

A checkout start is a fair signal on a $6,000 machine. Today's goal mixes carts, checkouts and forms into one lead count.

See the detail
  • Bidding optimizes to a tag that fires on every form on the site, so Add to Cart and Check out both count as a lead. We confirmed it on your live site on Oct 27.
  • Each cart click is counted twice, once as an add-to-cart and once as a lead: 2,099 and 2,015, Apr to Oct.
  • Two purchase goals both count, so every sale is recorded twice.
  • Every lead is valued at $1, so Google can't tell a cart click from a $6,000 order.

2Google hasn't recorded an online sale since June.

And 60 to 70% of your sales close by phone or email, which Google doesn't see at all.

  • 85 shoppers entered payment info from April to October. Google recorded 2 sales.
  • Sales your team closes in HubSpot never reach Google.

3Two-thirds of your budget ran outside Google Search.

Display

Google Search and Shopping
$6,322 (34%)
YouTube
$920 (5%)
Discover and Gmail
$379 (2%)

Ad spend by network, Apr 1 to Oct 26. Your main campaign put 84% of its budget on Display, at about $0.17 a click.

See the detail
  • With cart clicks counted as leads, Display was the cheapest place for Google to find them.
  • A Demand Gen campaign spent $3,078 from February to September without a recorded conversion.

4Through several handoffs, the searches that buy got the least.

How often your ads showed when someone searched these terms, Nov 2024 to Oct 2026. Most of the rest was lost to ad rank, not budget.

See the detail
  • "Vending machine for sale" and "vending machines for sale" got $1,579 combined in two years, about $66 a month.
  • About $1,700 went to unrelated searches, like coffee makers, candy machines and ice cream makers.
  • 42 campaigns spent money in two years. Each handoff started over, so no campaign built up much history.

5Your own name isn't protected.

  • Brand search has run in short bursts instead of all the time.

6The contact workflows are confusing.

Breadcrumb Technique™
"Tell us about your site"Lands on a page with two different forms: a 9-step intake and a separate message form. A buyer has to pick one.
"Which machine suits which site"Goes nowhere. It links to a section that isn't on the page.

  • 60 to 70% of your sales go through your team, so the path to a conversation matters as much as checkout.

Our Plan

Count sales first, fund the searches that buy, make the site easier to buy from, then add Meta.

Every sale from ads is worth about $6,000 to you.

What you budget to win a sale
About $6,000

At your own target cost, a sale brings in about 24 to 30 times what it cost to win. Revenue, not profit: your margin by machine sets what we can pay for a sale.

One extra machine sold a month more than covers the program

About 75% of your sales start on organic search, and every visit lands on the same site. A site that converts better lifts all of it. "1% better" means 1% more of the same visitors buy, not one more percentage point. An illustration from your call figures, revenue not profit, not a forecast.

What it includes, and the math
  • Two on-site tests a month, with a new variant every 14 days. First up: the quote path and the shop page buttons.
  • A CRO Specialist who plans each test, and results shared on your monthly call.
  • $4,000 a month. 83 orders x 1% = about 0.8 more a month x $6,000 = about $5,000. Same answer from $500,000 x 1%.
Base: landing page conversion rate up 66%Multi-step landing pages and frequent A/B tests on form fields. Cost per conversion down 57%.

From our published case studies. Their results, not a forecast for yours.

The roadmap. Each phase earns the next.

Phase 1Count sales, fund the searches that buyProper in-account conversion tracking counts sales, not carts. Sales your team closes in HubSpot flow back to Google. Your name runs all the time. The exact buying searches get their own budget to win. Shopping leads with in-stock best sellers. The Meta pixel and product catalog go in so audiences start building. On-site testing starts on your shop page and quote path.Starts at kickoff
Phase 2Add MetaCheckout and cart leavers, shoppers who viewed a machine and see that same machine, past buyers for their second and third unit, and lookalikes of your buyers. Performance creative built from your machines and renderings.Once Google shows a tracked cost per sale
Phase 3Scale and open new funnelsBudget steps up where cost per sale holds. Ads for your location matching service, built as their own funnel for location owners.Once Meta holds its mark for two weeks

Your take

Does Google first, then Meta, match how you would sequence it? What does your team need to know before calling a buyer back? And should Pokemon and trading card machines get their own budget?

How we'll measure a win. Baseline first, then the mark.

FirstA sale count that Google and Shopify agree on, plus sales from HubSpot reaching Google.
ThenCost per sale from ads against your $200 to $250 budget, with spend stepping up only when it holds.

We don't invent targets. We set the mark together once the baseline is real.

What we won't promise

  • A cost per sale before Google can count sales
  • Results on Meta before we have a baseline from Google
  • Scale on machines that sell out. Stock sets the ceiling

What we commit to

  • Plain numbers on what's working and what isn't
  • Budget moves only when the numbers hold
  • Your account and your data stay yours

Deliberately not in scope

  • Organic social posting. Your team keeps it
  • Shopify store rebuilds and SEO
  • Events
  • Ads outside the US, plus Hawaii and Alaska
